Delaware Chapter

Stand up for others
In 1955 a group of 17 Delaware social workers who belonged to the American Association of Social Workers agreed to a merger with a number of other national groups of social workers to form the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SOCIAL WORKERS. Thus established, the Chapter has continued through the years to provide an opportunity for social workers to work together for their common good and the good of our community.

The original group of social workers can be documented from 1930. So in total we have been in existence for 75 years. The last 50 have been with NASW.
